Once upon a time, in a dense jungle, there lived a mighty lion. He was the king of the forest and feared by all the animals. His loud roar could send chills through even the bravest of creatures. One afternoon, after a big meal, the lion lay down under a tree and fell into a deep sleep Moral Story.

While he slept, a little mouse that lived nearby came out of its hole. The mouse was playing around and accidentally ran across the lion’s body. The lion woke up with a roar and caught the mouse under his big paw.

“Who dares to disturb my sleep?” growled the lion. “I will crush you for this!”

The tiny mouse trembled in fear. “Please, mighty king! I didn’t mean to disturb you. It was an accident. If you let me go, I promise I will help you someday.”

The lion laughed. “You? A little mouse? Help me? That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!”

But the lion was in a good mood and decided to let the mouse go. “Run along now, and don’t disturb me again,” he said.

The mouse thanked him and scurried away.

A few weeks later, the lion was walking through the forest when he stepped into a hunter’s trap. A heavy net fell over him, and he couldn’t free himself. He roared and struggled, but the more he moved, the tighter the net became.

Hearing the lion’s roar, the little mouse came running. When he saw the lion trapped, he said, “Don’t worry, my friend. I’ll help you.”

The mouse quickly started gnawing through the ropes with his sharp teeth. Bit by bit, the net loosened until finally, the lion was free.

The lion looked at the mouse with amazement. “Thank you,” he said humbly. “I never thought a small creature like you could save my life. I was wrong to underestimate you.”

The mouse smiled and replied, “Even the smallest friend can make a big difference.”

From that day on, the lion and the mouse became good friends. The lion learned to value kindness and never judged others by their size again.
